Kakuichi continues Agricultural innovation

Kakuichi, one of Japan’s leading warehouse and garage manufacturers, is working to create a low-cost recycling society through the development of new agricultural materials and other products.
Our goal is to realize a society where people can feel “spiritual richness”. We are working to solve issues in the fields of agriculture, energy, and community.

Kakuichi has its roots in a hardware store founded in 1886 in the town of Inariyama, Nagano Prefecture. When iron was first used for agricultural machinery, the company built trust with farmers by focusing on quality and price while emphasizing delivery time for its product lineup.

In the 1960s, the company started a irrigation hose business and a garage business to protect farm machinery from rain, wind, and snow. The company has been supported and grown by farmers. Kakuichi has developed its business in areas related to water, agriculture, the environment, and the community. By multiplying its know-how and resources, the company is building a business that will lead to the development of agriculture.

The Aqua Solution business, which grew out of the environmental, solar power, and irrigation hose businesses with an emphasis on sustainability, was launched in 2016 and as of May 2021 had been installed in 1,295 cases throughout Japan and is used for institutional cultivation of strawberries, tomatoes, flowers, leafy vegetables, and other crops, as well as outdoor cultivation and fruit trees.

Through the dissemination of environmental technologies, we will promote the development of agriculture and contribute to the creation of a recycling-oriented society in which the community shines. We will continue to promote the construction of a recycling-oriented society and realize a society where people can experience spiritual richness.
