【Gunma】Foundation-Level Improvement! Is NB Comparable to Traditional Herbal Medicine?
Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture
Strawberry Farm IKEDA Mr. Kazumi Ikeda
A strawberry farmer who grows “Yayohime” brand strawberries in Gunma Prefecture. He has 40 years of cultivation experience.
He does not touch the strawberries except when harvesting and packing, so the strawberries last much longer.
He was the first farmer in Gunma Prefecture to be certified as the “Special Cultivated Agricultural Product”※ for strawberries, and he strives to produce safe and secure strawberries by reducing the use of agricultural chemicals and chemical fertilizers. Aiming to produce strawberries that my grandchildren can eat with peace of mind.
※“Special Cultivated Agricultural Products”
Agricultural products that are grown with less than 50% of the number of pesticides used and less than 50% of the nitrogen content of chemical fertilizers used, compared to the customary levels of the region where the agricultural products were produced.
Why did you install Nano Bubbles?
When I built the Kakuichi garage, the sales person said to me, “We are going to develop a Nano Bubble generator as a new product, and we would like to test it at your place, Mr. Ikeda.” Then I introduced.
After cultivating for two years, dividing the farm into a control area and a trial area(Nano bubble area), I observed higher yields in the trial area. Impressed by the results, I thought, ‘This is intriguing! I can’t afford not to do this!’ Consequently, I decided to implement it across the entire field.
How were the effects of Nano Bubbles?
The crowns grew thicker, and the root system improved significantly. Thanks to the enhanced oxygen supply, the fine roots absorb oxygen more efficiently, resulting in improved root activity. Upon pulling out the plants at the end of the season, those with Nano Bubbles showed an overwhelmingly greater root mass.
The crop showed an earlier emergence compared to the control area, allowing for an earlier harvest.
Moreover, during peak periods, the number of flowers increased by about 30-40%, leading to an overall size increase, even for smaller berries, which reached sizes comparable to large ones.
Furthermore, the fruits developed a firm texture with just the right amount of hardness, contributing to an extended shelf life. These combined effects resulted in a yield increase of approximately 10-20%—a cause for celebration!
Nowadays, the thought of cultivating without Nano Bubbles is daunting and something I simply cannot fathom.“
What is the key to using Nano Bubbles?
Applying Nano Bubbles has enhanced root development, leading to a more efficient water uptake by the plants.
Simultaneously, since the roots absorb not only water but also fertilizers, using the same fertilization and irrigation levels as conventional cultivation might result in insufficient nutrient supply.
Applying water and fertilizers all at once can lead to plant distress, akin to inducing diarrhea. Hence, it is crucial to carefully observe the situation and incrementally adjust inputs.
Additionally, adjusting Nano Bubble application based on temperature is vital—reduce during colder periods and increase during warmer ones. This flexibility allows us to fine-tune the application to the specific needs of the crops, ensuring optimal growth.
What are your thoughts on Nano Bubbles technology?
Conventional fertilizers and pesticides are akin to Western medicine—they provide quick results but often offer only short-term benefits. On the other hand, Nano Bubbles are reminiscent of traditional herbal medicine, where effects take time to manifest but deliver sustained and lasting benefits.
Nano Bubbles, by supplying oxygen, operates harmlessly, akin to natural processes. It doesn’t pose any risk of toxicity.
I see Nano Bubbles as a solution that works gradually, allowing us to naturally enhance the foundation. This approach results in the gradual improvement of the plants, ultimately cultivating a more robust and healthy crop over time.“
About the future
With the remarkable results achieved in our main field, our strong desire is to incorporate Nano Bubbles into our seedling cultivation process as well. However, the seedling greenhouse is located separately from the main field, making extension challenging.
If there were more affordable devices available for implementation, we would eagerly introduce them to our seedling greenhouse. Our goal is to leverage the proven benefits of Nano Bubbles across all aspects of our cultivation, ensuring a consistent and enhanced quality throughout the entire growth cycle.
