【Gunma】Advice from the Master: The Appeal and Expectations of Nano Bubbles

Former baseball player in the independent league ‘Gunma Diamond Pegasus.’ With the support of my father-in-law,
transited to become a strawberry farmer.
Currently in my third year of farming.
Based on the concept of creating an atmosphere as if you were visiting a relative’s strawberry farm, we operate a tourist strawberry garden and offer strawberry picking and strawberry sales.
His greenhouses are designed for the comfortable enjoyment of a diverse range of visitors, and some areas are wheelchair- and stroller-accessible. The aisles have been widened for the comfort of visitors in wheelchairs and strollers.

・Cultivated Area: 41 acres (16 acres with Nano Bubbles)
・Cultivated Varieties: Yotsuboshi, Yayoihime, Kaorino, Benihoppie
・Growing Medium: Coco Peat

Why did you introduce Nano Bubbles?

When I visit to Shibukawa to train as a strawberry farmer, my mentor, Mr.Obuchi, the president of Farmlab, recommended me to start farming strawberries.
I decided to install a Nano Bubble generator because I felt that oxygen is necessary for the roots of crops.

What are your expectations for Nano Bubble?

I want to enhance the power of plants through oxygen supply to the roots.
When employees visited my mentor’s field for training, there was a discussion about the improved taste of strawberries using Nano Bubbles. I also have expectations for the improvement of strawberry flavor.
 

How effective was the Nano Bubble?

I will assess the effectiveness of the usage starting from August 2023.
So far, things are going smoothly.
I will continue exchanging ideas with my mentor regarding strawberry cultivation utilizing Nano Bubbles.
